PVP Arena?

Well people have been talking about and starting work on a PVP arena but I don't think that it is finished or something yet I may be wrong which will make this post completely irrelevant. But if a few of us could arranged a time to come on and just make it because its been long over due. If creative could be allowed it would help loads . But I just wanted to know if anyone else wants to work on this if we are allowed so we can finally put our hard worked gear to test .

It would bring me great pleasure to be able to unleash heinous swarms of firebats upon those who oppose me.

Would summoned monsters fight each other? I'm imagining armies of mobs fighting - it would be glorious!

You can count me in. I'll gladly help with construction of the arena as I am becoming efficient at epic-scale building.

Butting in quickly for an idea, why not make the arena seem like a patch together of different people's bases? Sort've like stitched together chunks to form the whole thing. It could look pretty cool and in the future we can look at the new player and be like "See this wall? This is my wall."

ok sweet thanks guys and i think that might be a better idea for a future game like capture the flag lord then we have chance to explore them but i think it should just be a bad ass pvp arena looking swag for a fun and epic fight. We wouldn't want to get killed by a swarm of bats before we get to see the lovely scenery

I've not been playing on the FTB server lately, but if this becomes a thing, i will definately become more active again. You can count me in!

Also, maybe it would be cool to let the arena be inside a giant warded room, and turn on explosives in there. You could even set up an MFFS machine to slowly or really fast repair the arena.

Yes, this arena needs explosions!

A projector with the correct settings can instantly repair blocks within a massive area, but I think it would be better to allow the destruction to remain until each match ends. I'm imagining something like the Dragonball Z fighting games where the entire battleground is destructible, but there's still an outer boundary that you can't break through (warded blocks).

with these ideas Im sure this thing is gonna be amazing also ive not been very active lately too dr but this will bring me activity back up too

Well this is awesome im glad you guys have the same opinion on the matter as is do but I don't want to arrange a time untill Pax sees it first so he can give us the clear that he can make a area pvp and possible explosives with the MFFS system fixing it. Then we can arrange a date / time when no one is in school or working.

i had another idea how would u guys feel about a pvp world insted of a arena. i think its possible to do it with the multi world plugin too. We could build fortress' with the danger of being attacked at any moment and possibly raided if we leave stuff in our chests. We would still have all our stuff in the normal world but for daring players we could build little homes in that world and we could fight and blow shiz up. In my opinion there should be some boundaries maybe not blowing each others bases up coz they might take alot of time to repair and also i think we shouldn't brake each others graves. Of cause all players that enter that world will be warned and if they complain about dieing well they will be told to shut up XD. Well i hope u guys like that idea.
